Skip the permitting worries and let us help you through this process to ensure you have signs that are visible, directional and those that will market and advertise a variety of businesses and building complexes—and conform to planning and zoning rules.

Monument Sign Westlake, Ohio

Types of Ground Signs

These are probably the most recognizable signs of all signs. Once installed, they are often used to give directions—“We’re in the building complex with the bright green monument sign,” for example. From office buildings to restaurants to strip malls to auto dealerships and more, these signs are available in a variety of types including:

  • Mason, aluminum - These common sturdy signs are made of materials that include stone, stucco, metal and even foam letters. Add lighting to keep them visible at night. The ground sign fabrication process makes these signs stand out, especially because the end result attracts attention to potential customers.
  • Sandblasted – The most common material used for these signs is high-density urethane foam (HDU). Another material widely used is redwood where high-density foam is “blasted” onto the sign and painted, giving it a “pebble” look. These can be made in almost any size and can be single or double-sided. There are a multitude of colors for backgrounds, and sign faces can be raised or flush with the sign. Protective clear coating helps the sign battle North East Ohio climates.
  • Routed Letters – We also offer routed letters which are much like dimensional letters but can be mounted to existing walls or brick areas to help your building complex stand out.

These options make it easy for Epic Signs & Graphics to offer monument signage to fit into any budget.
