Crossroads Group recently called us to install signs throughout their new offices in Richfield, Ohio. They were in need of impressive interior office signs and wanted very custom work completed, so they imediately turned to Epic Signs & Graphics!

In the picture above, you can see a sign displaying Crossroads name and logo.  Metalic, dimensional letters provide a classy look throughout the office.  Depicted below are state-of-the-art office signs bearing the names and logos of partners and start up ventures.

In order to provide the most ideal signs to Crossroads, we measured up the available wall spaces and provided renderings of the completed walls. We also created a large pattern to check for size on the wall so they were comfortable with centering and proportion within the office. We also created mock logo signs to place on the walls so they could also see how they looked positioned on the walls.

For the Crossroads Group name and logo we used large, 3" thick, dimensional letters made from high-density urethane (HDU) and acrylic, custom colored, laminated faces.  The logo was created with a chrome polish face and painted black sides, which give it a further dimensional look.  The 2" thick, HDU, individual company logos are also painted black on the sides. The acrylic faces are routed on the backside and painted 2 colors.  The brushed finish letters on the door pictured below are flat aluminum, laser cut 1/8" thick and mounted with VHB tape directly to the door.

A word about high density urethane: HDU is available in various thicknesses, generally 1", 2", or 3".  HDU, also known as sign foam, is a great alternative to wood for interior and exterior signage. In fact, many signs that appear to be carved from wood are actually carved out of sign foam. Sign foam is, light weight, easy to fabricate, easy to paint, and easy to glue.  In addition, sign foam is resistant to rot, moisture, and insects.  It can be used for carved and dimensional signs.  Other advantages are that sgn foam is easy to shape and machine, it can replace wood for carved signs, it has good surface structure and low dust, it is resistant to organic solvents, and it can be formed with a variety of carving techniques including: routing, sand-blasting, and carving with wood working tools.
The Crossroads Group was started in 2007 for the purpose of acquiring and starting up ventures held by their partners, Paul Gabrail, Andrew Strigle, Michael Gabrail, and others. They look to invest in real estate, currently operating businesses, and start-up ventures. Currently, they own and manage over 800 apartment suites and a 50,000 square foot office building alongside their partners, Select Investment Group and United Assets. They also have land slated for development, outdoor/indoor storage facilities, product manufacturing businesses, a lending arm, and small start-ups in who's potential they believe.
