Design Time!

Upon receipt of deposit and acceptance Epic Signs will do the design, we will provide a design on the template and or pictures captured of the vehicle. Usually there are adjustments required and then approval. Once we have that confirmed your project is scheduled for print and installation.

Install Day!

Your vehicle will arrive clean....please wash before arriving! The graphics will be ready for installation and once the vehicle is further detail cleaned, the vinyl graphics are applied by a trained team. When complete we give you a call for pick up and your graphics will now be seen by the community!

If you are planning on new exterior building signs, there is a process to work through to determine your budget and scope for completing a successful project. You can't cut corners on this as you need to be seen, at the same time, it has to look good. That comes through when the right sign company is helping you. Below are some of the issues to consider. 

Where does the sign need to go on the building or property?

In many cases it is obvious, if your opening a new store front, it simply goes on the front to identify your location. In other cases, there could opportunities to place 2 signs for visibility from 2 different views, say one on each side of the corner. Or maybe one on the front and the other on the back of the building. It can be smaller but it can be effective.

Style?

In many situations, clients know what they want, but if we are helping guide a decision, we would consider the logo, the culture of the business, landlord rules, and the city parameters, and structure will many times determine the direction.

Size?

This factor is determined mostly by city ordinance, location on the building or ground, distance from the average user to see it and the budget. It is also dependent on how bug the owner wants it!

Lights or No lights?

For most restaurants or retail establishment signs, this is an automatic yes. Most of the time there is already power located at the sign spot so there's not a big expense to run wiring.

Branding your fleet, whether large or small, there are ways to efficiently manage the design and production process so price is efficient and your mobile advertising is effective.

Straight or Slanted?

Logo style, straight or slanted? Logos are not created with sign company production and install in mind that's for sure. Murphy's law dictates we will be given a square style logo and asked to place it in a rectangular space, happens every time! But we figure it out. An effective approach is to angle the logo or some other main art so it reduces the stress of making sure it is perfectly even. With vehicles we are dealing with uneven spaces, recesses curves, you name it.

Vehicle Color

Using similar or the same printed colors as the vehicle will hide install sins. This is not always possible but it helps. Wrapping a white car with black vinyl can easily become a challenge and adds time to make sure we trim absolutely spot on.

Full or Partial Wrap?

Do you need to wrap the whole car? We offer this technique as a way to reduce the strain on the budget. Our great designers can design in such a way as to wrap 3/4 of the car for example but make it look like a full wrap. This also helps especially to have the car the same color as the wrap. Vehicle availability

This is always a challenge. Busy operations usually do not plan to have a vehicle sitting around waiting to have a wrap done. But the reality is, streaming a vehicle through one after another is the way to roll out a branding program that will avoid delays and production bottle necks. Having vehicle arrive on time, washed and free of defects will allow installers to make sure vehicle is ready ahead of the install dry, clean and ready.

When considering updating your interior business areas, consider lighting as an option. Be aware, however, we need to plan for power in order to get the LED's to actually light up! Not a lot of power, but never the less, it takes electricity, and usually on a switch too!

A halo illuminated LED glow emanating from the back of the letter adds a nice touch to interior wall letters. The problem is, many people forget to plan for that little important detail. In addition, the trick to making this type of sign work is to hide the wiring. In fact the industry has matured to the point that it is expected we provide lights almost magically. When people observe a beautiful sign on a wall with a nice halo around the letters, it is forgotten what it took to make it happen. Not only do we need to get power to the sign location, we need to power every letter. And they all need to be protected with a power supply in the loop....and we need to go through walls! Or at least an electrician does.

Wall mounted letters

In order to make it look like the logo or letters are "floating" on the wall, we will need to have wires coming out directly behind the symbol. Most of the time we do not have that luxury, so if we can locate a source of power nearby in the ceiling, it could be pulled down through the wall to the right location. That takes a bit of luck and determination and skill because usually there are many things in the way such as insulation or or interior wall framing.

Pan or shoe box sign?

I've encountered a couple different terms in the industry using either one of these names. It is a way to make a sign usually out of metal. that is bent on every side to create a sort of wall around each edge. When turned over, it resembles a frying pan. We used that trick for a manufacturing company called Hamrick. We arrived on site with a totally custom pre-assembled sign so all we had to do was mount angle iron to the wall and screw the pan to the angle iron. In this case, the electrical outlet was already in place, so all we had to do was plug in the sign and mount our sign.
